Delray Beach Waterfront Condos

Beach & Intracoastal Condos

Most of the waterfront condos in Delray Beach will be waterfront condos on the Intracoastal. The South end of Delray Beach has some oceanfront condos but the majority of Delray Beach oceanfront properties is either single family estate homes, public parks or public beaches. The majority of Intracoastal condos in Delray sit on the East side of the Intracoastal and have ample space for boat dockage as well as prime waterfront views. Situated smack in the middle of Boca Inlet and Boynton Inlet boaters have their choice of inlets to the ocean. Boca Inlet always seems to be  a bit quieter and easier to navigate. The majority of Delray Beach condos as well as Boca Raton and or Highland Beach condos all seem to be much older condos built in the early 80’s or before. You won’t see new condo buildings on the Intracoastal or the ocean in this area for several reasons. Most condos were built in the boom years of late 70’s. and they took up the best land spaces. By the time the past decade came along all the land along the waters in places in South Palm Beach County had condos on them. Places like Jupiter and Singer island weren’t developed as soon so they have some much newer condo buildings. Singer Island condos have the largest amount of new buildings as many old hotels lined the ocean here and they were razed in the last building boom for luxury condos on Singer Island. If you are looking for a quiet beach town with some wonderful attractions beyond a condo building you should look at Delray beach for your next condo purchase.
