Developers are increasing the size of many of the Boca Raton condos as they are no longer second homes but primary residences. The demographics of the Florida buyer are changing. We are still seeing the snowbird buyers but Florida is becoming not just a vacation home but a place to live and have a family. Snowbirds are also much younger now than in the past. More snowbirds are more affluent moving to the Boca Raton area. Boca Raton has always been an affluent community but there seems to be a greater number of affluent buyers.
